Awards
The Thanksgiving Marathon is the only marathon that awards FORKS as a finisher’s medal!
Unlike most marathon finishing medals, The Thanksgiving Marathon finisher’s medal can be used for something – Thanksgiving Dinner!
If you run the full marathon, you’ll have a BIG fork award – 12 inch
If you run the 1/2 marathon you’ll receive a medium size fork – 8 inch
If you run the 1/4 marathon or 5k you’ll receive a small normal sized fork – 6 inch

The reward is neat, can’t wait to get one. But how about encouraging people to bring a non-perishable food, like cans to collect as a food drive. It’s in the spirit of ThanksGiving or just feeding those in need.
Having a food drive is a great idea! Let us look into that.
coooool!
thank you
What about this year’s 5k?
There will be a 5k this year.
So only first place gets a fork or does everybody?
Everyone gets a fork! Doesn’t matter your place or the race you run.

Is this two loops of the rabbit-and-hare course (as on the delayed Halloween marathon), or will we be off on the trail that loops around the lake and golf course again (as on the Labor Day marathon)?
Best,
