THE THANKSGIVING MARATHON

This is going to be FUN!

Get ready for a fantastic trail course!

The course will be marked well with white flour powder, orange ribbons, and directional signs.

We are adding a 5k course for this Thanksgiving Day! This course takes runners around the parade grounds twice. This loop is flat as a pancake and is great for beginners. It is also wheelchair and handcycle accessible! The course consists of paved pathways and a firm, flat stone dust surface.

Below is the 6.56 mile classic loop for the 1/4 marathon, 1/2 marathon, 3/4 marathon and full marathon races. Expect a true wilderness experience in the deep forests of the Bronx. The trails are all well maintained. Minimal technical trail conditions should be expected. The trails are a mix of packed dirt, small granular rock, and crushed soft leaf surfaces.

There are long flat sections, and short challenging climbs and descents.

All runners should write their name and finishing time in our record books located at the start/finish line!

1/4 marathon
The race loop is actually 6.56 miles long.

1/2 Marathon
The half marathon is 2 full loops.  3/4 marathon is 3 full loops.

Marathon!
The marathon consists of 4 full loops of our classic 6.56 mile course. This is the only TRAIL marathon in New York City!
